Info & FAQs

Important Information
Minimum Numbers
The minimum number required to run a Career Bridge programme is 8 students. In certain circumstances, smaller groups may be considered at PLUS’s discretion. All programmes will normally run once a group reaches 8 confirmed participants.
Closed Groups
Where an agent enrols 8 or more students and no additional demand exists from other schools or markets for the course, the programme may operate as a closed group. If an agent does not wish their group to proceed as a closed group, this must be clearly communicated to PLUS in writing prior to course confirmation.
International Cohorts
We actively aim to create international cohorts, particularly within Tiers 2 & 3. However, cohort composition depends on confirmed bookings and cannot be guaranteed for every intake.

FAQs
They can build on each other, but each tier also stands alone. Students may return in future years for a more advanced tier, but every programme is designed to be complete and valuable in its own right.
For closed groups, dates can usually be adjusted. For individuals or small groups joining an international cohort, they must follow the exact advertised dates so they start and complete the project with the full team.
Yes, this can normally be arranged for Tiers 2 and 3 for students aged 16 and above. When students join without their own Group Leader, we provide a dedicated Student Supervisor to ensure full pastoral support throughout the programme.
Yes. A group may include both Career Bridge and Summer School students. However, for any students under 16, a Group Leader must remain with those students at all times. As the two programmes may run on different schedules or in different locations (for example, Career Bridge students in class while Summer School students are on excursion), the Group Leader must stay with the under-16s wherever they are scheduled to be.
All programme activities and staff, accommodation, full board (three meals a day), and local transport for scheduled excursions.
Students do not work as interns inside the company. Instead, they work on a project for the company – like consultants. This structure focuses on learning rather than menial tasks like a typical internship might.
Yes — for all tiers except Career Kickstart, where they are strongly recommended. Project work, research, and presentations require a laptop; tablets and phones are not sufficient.
Our project coaches monitor progress closely and offer targeted support. We adjust the project scope if needed – projects are designed to be challenging yet achievable.
If a student is very close to the expected level and highly motivated, exceptions may be considered case by case. Speak with us so we can review suitability together.
Each programme includes a structured leisure schedule to help students socialise, network, unwind and enjoy their stay outside learning hours.
For certain subjects and tiers, we will sometimes provide an optional reading or viewing list to give students a useful head start.
