This handbook provides essential guidance on safeguarding practices across all PLUS programmes. It outlines our duty of care, key safeguarding principles, staff responsibilities, and the procedures designed to protect the wellbeing of every student. It applies to all staff members, volunteers, contractors, Group Leaders, and visitors involved in the delivery of our programmes.

The document covers core areas including child protection, safer recruitment, accommodation guidelines, emergency response, and more. All staff are expected to familiarise themselves with these policies and follow them at all times to uphold our commitment to student safety.
